About
This is for those who may be interested:
When I was 19 my girlfriend (now my wife and life long partner) bought me my first camera a Minolta SRT-101. At first I thought this was a complete waste of time and money but since that day and four decades later I have never stopped photographing. Guess Anne got that one right.
As my photography turned professional I have always used Nikons and have owned more Nikon systems then I can or care to count. My work has been well published with eleven aerial books to my credit.
I love this quote:
"There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer."
~ Ansel Adams
Truer words have never been spoken; after all it is simply about effectively communicating your vision of a subject to the viewer.
Recently I returned to my photographic roots and bought a wonderful Hasselblad system with the sole intention of shooting film again but in black and white. Film is scanned on an Imacon scanner and downloaded to my Mac, final output is provided by two Epson printers a 3800 and an 11880. For me it’s all about the composition and the honesty of black and white imagery. Hope you enjoy this website.
Cheers:
